Pace University Career Services has one of the largest internship placement programs of any university in the New York City area, posting over 19,000 internship, jobs, and OPT positions each year. We urge our international students to take full advantage of all that Career Services offers, including advising, career and internship fairs, and networking and CV-writing workshops. Our students intern and work at a wide variety of major companies such as IBM, Ernst & Young, MasterCard, JP Morgan Chase, Verizon, Mizhou Bank, CBS Networks, Warner Music Group, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP.
There are a host of activities and cultural events on campus. Graduate students on Pace University’s New York City campus lead and participate in multiple student organizations. Students can lead and participate in multiple student organizations. Business student organization include the Lubin School Graduate Society, Graduate Finance Club, Chinese Student and Scholar Association, United Chinese Student Association, and Beta Alpha Psi (the international honors organization for accounting, finance, and information systems). Students also can participate in the Cybersecurity Club, Computing Society, United Chinese Student Association,Design Factory Global Network, Robotic Demonstrations or the Seidenberg Tech Collective. There are a host of activities and cultural events on campus in addition to all that the New York City area has to offer.
Pace University has two campus, two campus both offers on-campus dining venues on both campuses. The area around the campus includes a major hospital, a pre-school, parks, and major tourist attractions. Campus in New York Cityis in downtown Manhattan near Wall Street and the Brooklyn Bridge, offers international students a safe, welcoming home base for studying, living, and working in the most dynamic city in the United States. Forbes.com recently ranked New York City as one of the Top 10 Safest Cities in the United States. This campus is located near three major airports (Kennedy, LaGuardia, and Newark) and has 24/7 mass transit – subways, buses, and trains. We also offer a more traditional American college campus experience at our campus in Pleasantville, NY, just 40 miles north of New York City. It is located 75 minutes from Kennedy Airport by car, and is also accessible using the Metro North commuter train from Manhattan’s Grand Central Station.
On both our New York City and Pleasantville campuses, Pace University offers two residence hall options for students, both of which are close to the main academic buildings. Please note that these residences include both undergraduate and graduate students. Many of our international graduate student choose to live in apartments or with a home-stay in the area. In addition, all of our residence halls and campus buildings have 24/7 security staff. Plus our campus is located near City Hall (the center of city government) and the headquarters building for the New York Police Department.
Tuition for graduate programs in Pace University’s Lubin School of Business and the Seidenberg School are $1,230 per credit. Total tuition will vary based on the number of credits in the degree program. University fees are generally $2,800 per academic year, which includes university health insurance.
Pace offers merit scholarships based on academic achievement to international students, up to $6,280 per year. Your application for admission also serves as your scholarship application and any award will be included in your letter of acceptance.
In addition, Pace offer Graduate Assistantships which can cover a minimum of 50% of your tuition. A separate application is required for these assistantships which is available online on our website. International students may also apply for on-campus employment after arriving at Pace.
